1.General
Priceless-specs will also be referred to in these terms and conditions as "we" and "us".
These terms and conditions set out the rights and obligations that apply where we supply goods to you. Please read them carefully before you place your order as you will be bound by these terms and conditions should we accept your order. If you have any questions regarding these terms and conditions, or our website or order form, please raise them by contacting us before you place your order.
These terms and conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Priceless-specs whose address is PO Box 248 Leeds LS 19 9AR
These terms and conditions also govern the use of this website.
These terms and conditions are governed by and were written in accordance with English law, and may be subject to change without any prior notice to you. However, after an order is placed, we will not change the terms and conditions relating to that order.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. Conditions of Sale
By submitting your order to us you agree to be bound by the latest terms and conditions in force at the time of the order.
You must provide us with a prescription that is less than 2 years old.
You must agree that the prescription information provided by you is exactly the same as that given to you by a registered practitioner. We cannot be held responsible for any errors made by you when inputting your prescription details.
Unless you state otherwise we will use an average pupillary distance of 63mm to complete your order.
You must be over 18 years of age and you must not be registered blind or partially sighted.
We will not accept orders where the combined spherical and cylindrical powers exceed 8 dioptres, and where the cylindrical power exceeds 4 dioptres.
A legally binding contract will exist between you and us once we have accepted your order and payment has been received.
3. Goods and Services
The description of our goods is as set out on our website. We will endeavour to ensure that there are no changes to these goods, but it is possible that there could be some variations to the goods by way of manufacturers changing the specifications of the parts they supply to us.
All goods are subject to availability. We will inform you by phone or e-mail or both, within 15 working days of the order being placed, if an item ordered by you is unavailable.
We will refund any money you pay to us should we be unable to supply the requested goods.
We have displayed the goods on our website as accurately as possible. However, due to the nature of different monitor displays, and different reproduction techniques of photography and web design, we cannot guarantee that any colour description is totally accurate.
We will meet our responsibilities in these terms and conditions within a reasonable time unless it is beyond our control. For instance, we will not be held responsible for delays caused by our suppliers.
We will not be liable for delays in supply or failure to supply the goods when caused by circumstances beyond our control. For example, natural disasters etc.
4. Pricing and Payment Information
The price you pay will be the price stated for the chosen goods on our website at the time of you submitting your order, plus the price stated for postage and packing per item on our website at the time of submitting your order.
All prices include VAT
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time without notice, but once an order has been accepted, we will not change the price that applies to that order.
You must pay the full price for goods and postage and packaging when placing your order.
All payments must be made in UK Pounds Sterling.
We only accept payment by credit or debit card, all types of which are identified on our site.
All payments are subject to authorisation and validation from the card issuer. If authorisation or validation is refused by the issuer, we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver.
5. Delivery & Title
We will deliver your goods by Royal Mail recorded delivery, unless you have specified our Express Delivery option in which case your goods will be delivered using Royal Mail guaranteed next day delivery at an additional cost as specified in our website.
Our normal delivery process ensures that you will receive your goods within 15 working days of us accepting your order, subject to availability as outlined in the " Goods and Services " section of these terms and conditions.
We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us on the website order form. This must be a UK address.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you.
6. Guarantees and Returns
We offer a full six months guarantee on frames and lenses against faulty workmanship.
You may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to 10 working days from the date of the initial order.
To cancel your contract you must notify us in writing or by sending an e-mail to Priceless-specs.
If for any reason you find your chosen spectacles unsuitable, you may return them to us subject to the following:
- The goods must be returned undamaged and unused in their original condition and packaging to qualify for a refund.
- The refund will be limited to the basic cost of the original order. We reserve the right to charge for any optional extras selected by you. The cost of carriage and insurance is non-refundable.
7. Liability
If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery, or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
We will not be liable to you for any administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We shall not be liable for any errors made by you when entering prescription details online.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes.)
11. Accessories
All frames come with one appropriate case and lens cloth.
